Welcome to my art gallery!

This page is home to original artwork by yours truly. My artistic interests don't stop at game development, and in fact extend throughout a wide range of traditional art forms.I am a formerly taught artist and I excel at charcoal drawing specifically.I also practice sculpture, painting, ceramics, and music-making.

I keep my non-game-related artwork private from society at large. In my normal line of work as a game developer, I find it hard to escape the commodified and transactional nature of the job. I love the process of making games and spreading joy but if all I ever do is create things to please others, I fear that the act of creating will eventually stop feeling like an activity that I'm performing for my own enjoyment. Contrary to everything I just said, on this page I've decided to publicly display some selected works of mine that I made back in college. I don't feel gross sharing these publicly because I had to create them in order to pass my art classes. These certainly weren't created for my own sake, but I am proud of them regardless -  so I figured why not share them?

Feel free to browse around and take a gander at some of my work!

"My Apartment and Neighbors"
April 2025
Oil paint on paper
Created as one of three paintings for a painting class that I took in my third year of college. This depicts a wide-view perspective of the block I lived on in my third year of college using a complimentary color scheme. My instructor did not like this one much, but almost all of my fellow art student peers said it was great.

"Still Life with Cow Skull"
March 2024
Charcoal on paper

Drawn from observing static objects placed in front of me.  This was made for a still life charcoal drawing assignment in an intermediate drawing class that I took in the Spring of my first year of college.
"The View From My Room on March 5, 2025"
April 2025
Oil paint on paper
This was created as a study in color for a painting class I took in my third year of college. This is a painting that depicts the second-floor view outside of my office window at my first apartment, two days before the steam release of Nubby's Number Factory. The view outside of my window was basically an alley, hence why it looks like an alley.

"Still Life with Tube and Clamp"
December 2023
Vine charcoal and compressed charcoal on paper

Similar to above, this still life drawing was drawn from observing random objects placed in front of me. This was submitted as my final project for the first college-level drawing class that I took.
